Gul RS Vareo Nationals 2008 - Press Release

LOSSC are very much looking forward to the RS Vareos joining them again for their Gul Nationals Championships on 18-20 July in what is LOSSC’s centenary year. They are particularly pleased to host the Vareos again and hope that they can provide, as always, good courses and, of course, fair wind.
We are fortunate at LOSSC as we can sail at all states of the tide and, dare we say it, offer the best sailing on the Solent. Our club house has a well stocked range of ales and delicious food. There is ample room to rig boats on the grass as usual and a campsite is just down the road from the club.
The RS Vareos had 49 entrants to their 2007 Gul National Championships, and the entry list is already looking very healthy with both old names and new. As well as the scheduled 10 races, the RS Vareos are looking forward to video feedback coaching from each days sailing, looking at professional photographs from the racing, enjoying a Caberet night at the club, and, of course, meeting old friends and new.
