Advance news : the 2013 Eurocup is going to Carnac Thurs 30th May-June 2nd. This is the end of half term week. The vareos can go if we can get a minimum of 6 boats .Carnac is the nearest of the European venues that the RS fleets go to, & is perhaps the best suited to vareos. The sailing is in the sheltered waters of Quiberon bay, launching & boat parking is good, & Carnac itself is one of the premier southern Brittany resorts with beautiful beaches , cote sauvage & plenty to do. See http://www.yccarnac.com/ There is camping within walking distance (Les Menhirs) & a variety of restaurants, so if like me ,you are fed up with rotten UK summers, why not make a date for 2013 & come & enjoy 4 days sailing, warm seas & sun & have a family holiday at the same time.
